Over 35 years of combined knowledge in Graphic Arts, and Fine Arts, Chana and the Guy (Chana Edwards and G. Thomas Edwards) have been in the Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley area for 30 years.
Personal History Synopsis:
Gary, (G. Thomas Edwards), originally pursued architecture and fine arts as a career attending American River College in Sacramento. A short interruption in those plans occurred, requiring service in the US Armed Forces. Completing this responsibility he returned to American River College and eventually Sonoma State. Upon completion he moved back to Sacramento opening a free lance graphic arts service. This business was moved to Lake Tahoe eventually leading to a position with Grant Wolf, Inc. After a year as the “one-man art department” Mr. Edwards engineered the start of Grant Wolf & Associates Advertising, serving for just over 9 years as creative director. Gary left their service to reopen his personal business; G. Thomas Edwards Creative Design. During which time, his association with a Multi Media company introduced him to the design of GUI’s and navigation for Touchscreen Kiosks and websites. It was also during this period, Gary designed and built: www.historichwy49.com a 300 page website about California’s Gold Country still very active to date receiving on average 1,400,000 hits a month.
Chana Edwards, originally from Palm Springs and Cool, California is an illustrator and fine artist specializing in pencil, and has a keen eye for contemporary design, which you will discover showcased in their combined efforts.
